Remember LibraryThing's "Early Reviewers" program that was announced a few months ago? It turns out Amazon is launching their own similar program called Vines. Tim Spalding of LibraryThing talks about both programs here.
I'm thrilled that more of these campaigns are springing up. It's a great way to work with early adopters and others who are enthusiastic about new products. Both of these organizations have excellent customer databases they can tap into for these services. If you're a publishing PR specialist you should be all over this as it's a great way to leverage the community and help spread the word about new and upcoming titles.
