TV For Dummies

How do you expand the reach of an extremely popular how-to book brand?  You extend it on to other platforms, such as television.

Variety provides some background on the deal here.  The bottom line: My colleagues at John Wiley & Sons, Inc., have struck a deal to bring the wildly popular For Dummies brand to television.  Great idea.  The For Dummies series has helped millions of people learn just about everything from A to Z over the years and it makes perfect sense to extend the brand into television.
