WROX Author Contest

Many of my posts here have to do with PR and other ways of selling and promoting books. Roger Grimes, InfoWorld columnist and WROX author, recently announced an interesting contest. He lays out three challenges and is offering prizes to the winners of each, including a copy of the Professional Windows Desktop and Server Hardening book he wrote for WROX. This is another great example of an author leveraging their platform to help raise the awareness of a book. Great job, Roger!

I’d like to help him take it a step further… For each of the three winners of his challenges, I will throw in an additional WROX book of the winner’s choice. So, if you know any great hackers/programmers out there, be sure to point them to Roger’s contest.
