Joe Wikert

I'm General Manager & Publisher at O'Reilly Media, Inc., where I manage the sales and editorial groups. I'm also the Chair of O'Reilly's Tools of Change for Publishers conference (TOC). O'Reilly spreads the knowledge of innovators through books, online services and conferences. Our storied "animal books" serve developers and system administrators who have been a key O'Reilly constituency throughout the company's 30-year history. We also publish the extremely successful Missing Manual series as well as the "brain-friendly" Head First series. In 2009 we signed a deal to publish and distribute Microsoft Press products as well.

Prior to joining O'Reilly I was Vice President and Executive Publisher at John Wiley & Sons, Inc., in their P/T division.

My wonderful wife Kelly and I have 3 great kids: Sarah, Craig and Hannah.
